These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you visit sevraskincare.com, buy from us, or use our skin questionnaire and consultation services (together, the "Services"). The Services are operated by Sèvra Skin Care ("Sèvra", "we", "us"), based in Prince Edward Island, Canada. By using the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy policy, our Refund policy and our Shipping policy. Please read them carefully.

Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any right you have under the consumer protection laws of your province or territory. If anything here conflicts with those laws, the law applies.

1. Who can buy

You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory to place an order or create an account. We sell to customers in Canada only, for personal use and not for resale. You are responsible for keeping your account login secure and for activity on your account.

2. Our products

Sèvra products are cosmetics. They are not drugs or medical treatments and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Each product page lists the full ingredients, an allergy note, and how to use the product.

Sensitive skin can react to any product, including gentle ones. Before using a product for the first time, apply a small amount behind your ear or on your inner arm and wait 48 hours. Stop using any product that causes irritation, and see a doctor or pharmacist if a reaction is severe or doesn't settle. Read the full ingredient list before buying, especially if you have known allergies, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have had a recent skin procedure.

We work to show our products accurately. Colours and packaging may look slightly different on your screen, and we may update formulas, packaging or descriptions over time. The ingredient list on the product you receive is always the one that applies.

3. Skin advice, questionnaire and consultations

Our skin questionnaire, video consultations and email advice are free services offered to help you choose products. Our advisors give skincare guidance, not medical advice. They are not doctors and do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. Their recommendations are based on what you tell us, so please share any allergies, conditions or recent procedures. For any medical concern, please consult a doctor or dermatologist.

Consultations are booked through our booking provider. Please reschedule or cancel through your booking confirmation if you can't attend. We may decline or end a consultation that is used for something other than skincare advice or that is disrespectful to our advisors.

4. Orders and prices

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your shipping confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, if there is an obvious pricing error or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel after you have paid, we refund you in full.

Prices are in Canadian dollars. Shipping within Canada is free. GST, HST and any provincial sales tax are added at checkout. The price you pay is the price shown when you place your order. Sèvra does not run sales or discount codes, and we may limit quantities per order.

Payments are processed securely through Shopify's checkout. You confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.

5. Shipping, returns and our Skin Comfort Promise

Shipping is described in our Shipping policy. Returns, refunds, exchanges and the Skin Comfort Promise are described in our Refund policy. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. If a parcel is lost in transit, we will help as set out in our Shipping policy.

6. The Register (our email list)

If you choose to join the Register, we will send you occasional emails about new products and letters from our advisors. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We only add you if you have asked to join.

7. Our content and brand

The Sèvra name, logo, S monogram, product names, photographs and text on our website belong to Sèvra or are used with permission. You may view and share our pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce or use our content or brand for any other purpose without our written permission. SÈVRA™ and the S monogram are trademarks of Sèvra Skin Care.

8. Reviews and feedback

If you send us a review, photo, idea or feedback, you confirm that it is your own and truthful, and you allow us to use it to improve and promote Sèvra. Where we publish your review, we will show only your first name and last initial unless you agree otherwise. We may decline to publish content that is misleading, offensive or makes medical claims. We never pay for or edit reviews to change their meaning.

9. Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the Services. This includes breaking the law, giving false information, interfering with the website's security or operation, scraping or copying the site with automated tools, or using it to send spam or harmful code. We may suspend or close an account that is misused.

10. Relationship with Shopify

Our store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our store are made directly with Sèvra. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and Sèvra, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with Sèvra. Personal information you provide is handled as described in our Privacy policy and, where applicable, the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.

11. Third-party services and links

Some features use services run by others, such as our booking and video-call providers. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply to your use of them. We are not responsible for websites we link to that we don't control.

12. Warranties and liability

Information on our website is provided for general information, and we work to keep it accurate and current. We warrant that our products will match their description and be of acceptable quality when delivered. Other than that, and to the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is".

To the extent permitted by law, Sèvra is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of income) arising from your use of the Services or our products, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including for injury caused by our negligence, and they do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Prince Edward Island and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you live in another province or territory, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page when you place an order applies to that order. We will update the date at the top whenever we make changes.
